The hard part of moving is not moving. It's unpacking.
We finally have all of our furniture arranged and most boxes unpacked, but we're still a long way from finished. Our new home is now underneath our "landlords" (Martha, Martha!'s sister and brother-in-law) rather than above them. But like our last residence, this one is more or less rural; our backyard is a corn field and it's a ten-minute drive to any town of consequence.
The weather here is absolutely gorgeous today. If I could, I would have spent the day fishing instead of unpacking and shopping for food.
